You haven't scuba dived until you have dived in the Great Barrier Reef!
Submerge yourself in the world's largest reef system and explore this natural wonder of the world, discovering all its splendour and beauty.
You will spend between four to five hours at the reef where you can partake in a number of activities including snorkelling, using the underwater observatory, the Marine Touch Tank, where you can touch some of the reef's unique marine creatures and an introductory scuba dive.
All instructors are PADI qualified and experienced so you can immerse yourself in the reef up close, even without prior scuba dive knowledge. Each dive is tailored to suit your level of confidence and expertise and first class equipment is provided.
During this fun filled day, you will stop at a spacious outer reef activity pontoon which features a glass bottomed boat, semi-submersible vessel and underwater observatory, allowing you to view the underwater world with ease. You will also be able to listen to an onboard reef ecology presentation by Marine Naturalist.
This exceptional value cruise also includes a delicious hot and cold buffet lunch with seafood. Tea and coffee is also provided prior to pontoon departure.
Please note that all introductory scuba dive participants must complete a medical questionnaire/declaration onboard. A history of asthma, heart conditions or medications may prohibit participation in the dive unless a current Australian Diving Medical is shown.
*The minimum age for scuba is 12 years old. Child, cruise only tickets are available for children under 14 years old. Children under 4 years old travel for free.*
